Orders & revisions

Beautified Ink is an online tattoo-design studio. We sell digital artwork and custom design services. We do not provide tattoo application, appointments with tattoo artists or physical prints. Our concepts use AI-assisted artwork; the skin images on this site are simulations.

Adding a design to your bag does not place an order or make a payment. Premade orders are purchased through PayPal checkout. Custom work starts with an inquiry: we confirm your scope, price in USD, any applicable tax, files and schedule in a written quote before you pay.

Premade artwork

Premade packages cost the listed price per design and are paid in full before delivery. The artwork is sold as shown and is nonexclusive. No artwork edits, recoloring, new lettering or revision rounds are offered for premade designs. Choose a delivery size before adding to your bag: smaller is 75% of the reference size at the same price; reference is 100%; larger is 125% for an additional $5; extra large is 150% for an additional $10. The selected size changes the delivery layout while preserving the artwork and its proportions. It does not add detail or pixels. Sizes are approximate long-edge guides; your tattoo artist should confirm the final fit and line detail. A new custom design is a separate service.

Custom work

Your custom quote covers one agreed concept and one revision round. A 50% deposit starts the project after the brief is approved. The remaining 50% is due after you approve the artwork and before clean final files are delivered. We’ll share a preview for your review.

Please be as specific as possible: describe the subject, meaning, composition, style, size, placement and body side. Give us the exact spelling of any words, names or dates, along with details to include or avoid. Inspiration-image links are welcome; tell us what you like about each. You can send image attachments when you reply to our email. References help us understand the mood, subjects and details you like. We won’t trace or reproduce another artist’s tattoo. Please credit the artist or source when you know it.

What counts as a revision?

A revision round is one consolidated list of changes to the agreed concept, sent before final approval. Small adjustments to line detail, elements or lettering can fit within a round. Additional rounds cost $25 each and begin only after the fee is approved and paid.

A different subject or style, major redraw, changed body placement, extra concept or work requested after final approval needs a fresh quote. We’ll tell you before doing anything chargeable. Corrections to studio errors or missing details already agreed in the brief do not use your included revision.

Payment

Premade artwork uses PayPal checkout. The price is calculated from the selected designs and sizes on our server, and files unlock only after PayPal verifies completed payment. Pending or declined payments do not unlock files. A PayPal or Venmo profile payment made outside this checkout does not create automatic download access. For an approved custom quote, you may use PayPal or Venmo with the exact amount and quote reference; the studio confirms those payments before work or delivery. We never collect card or bank account details in the questionnaire.

Files & delivery

Each paid premade design includes a clean standalone PNG, a white-background JPEG, a print PDF, its native-size original and a written guide with the story, placement notes and personal tattoo-use terms. No physical item is shipped.

The current premade collection’s main exports are 3,600 × 4,800 pixels at 300 DPI metadata. They are upscaled from 1,086 × 1,448-pixel native artwork. Upscaling and DPI metadata do not create new detail. Background transparency varies by PNG; each package records its actual specifications. Custom artwork includes a 4,800-pixel long-edge export and native artwork, with dimensions and background requirements agreed in your quote.

Raster JPEG, PNG and PDF files are included; editable vector files, layered source files and verified tattoo stencils are not. Your tattoo artist should check usable size, composition, line weight, color and spelling, then make the stencil they need. Preview placement on a model does not guarantee how a finished tattoo will look on your body.

Estimated turnaround

• Initial reply: 1–2 business days.
• Premade files: automatic access on your private order page after PayPal confirms completed payment. Most completed payments unlock promptly; pending payments can take longer.
• Custom first preview: 7–10 business days after the complete brief and deposit.
• Large or statement first preview: 10–15 business days.
• Revisions: 2–3 business days after consolidated feedback and any extra fee.
• Final custom files: within 2 business days of approval and full payment.

Business days are Monday–Friday. Your quote confirms the expected dates. Delayed feedback, missing references, payment delays or changes to the brief can move them. Tell us about an important date before ordering; rush work requires prior agreement.

Premade files are available on the private order page shown after checkout. Save that link and a personal backup of the files; recent order links are also kept in this browser. Individual download links expire after five minutes, and reopening your private order page creates fresh ones without another payment. Download the full ZIP or choose JPEG, PNG and PDF separately. The size-specific PDF uses the upper end of your selected approximate size range. Print at 100% / Actual size and have your tattoo artist check the fit. Custom files are sent through the email conversation after final approval and full payment. For missing, expired or defective files, contact the studio with your order reference. Download access may be paused if payment is refunded or reversed.

Personal-use purchase agreement

Your purchase allows one person to use the design for their own tattoo. You may share the file with your tattoo artist, and they may adjust it as needed for your tattoo. You’re welcome to share photographs of your finished tattoo.

Premade pieces may be sold to other customers. We will not add your final commissioned custom composition to our premade shop. This is a commitment about our own sales; it is not a promise that no similar idea or image exists elsewhere.

Do not resell or redistribute the artwork files, give them to friends or groups, upload them to sharing sites, post the clean files for others to download, sell prints or merchandise using them, or license them to someone else. Commercial use and use for another person need separate written permission. We are not offering a transfer of copyright or exclusive ownership of every underlying motif.

The stories give you a starting point, not a meaning you must adopt. Historical notes identify the sources that inspired a design; personal meanings and combinations are contemporary interpretations. Korean references come from decorative arts, paintings and folklore, not a claim that these designs were historical tattoos. Have a fluent reader check any Korean or other lettering before it is tattooed.

Respect for other artists

Our collection uses AI-assisted artwork. Historical motifs and familiar subjects can appear in many artists’ work, so we do not promise that every idea or image is unique. If you believe a piece reproduces your work, contact the studio with the design name and a link to your original so we can review it.

Please share only reference images you have the right to send. We won’t publish your personal reference photos, custom brief or finished custom commission as promotional material without your permission.

If your plans change

Cancel before work begins for a full refund. If work has started, we’ll explain what has been completed, charge only for that agreed work and refund any unused balance. Premade checkout starts digital delivery as soon as payment is verified, so there may be no interval in which to cancel before delivery. If you have a problem, contact us promptly with your order reference. This does not limit any cancellation or refund rights provided by applicable law.

Delivered digital files are normally nonreturnable because they can be saved and copied. If we send the wrong files, files that will not open or artwork that does not match what we agreed, contact us with your order reference. We’ll correct the problem without a revision charge, or refund the affected order if we cannot resolve it. We cannot refund a design because of a tattoo artist’s application or later changes in preference.

Any approved refund is returned through the original payment method where possible. We’ll confirm when it is issued; the payment provider controls when it appears in your account. Nothing in this policy removes rights you have under applicable consumer law.

The details you share

We use your name, email address, design brief, chosen artwork, measurements, reference links and other details you choose to send to answer your inquiry, prepare a quote and complete your order. Please avoid medical information, identity documents, card or bank details, or sensitive personal photographs.

The questionnaire is processed by Formspree. Its service receives your submission and can process technical information such as IP address and browser details under its privacy policy. Payment information is handled separately by PayPal or Venmo under their own policies. Hosting and other service providers may keep technical logs needed to operate and protect their services.

Your bag, selected sizes, pending checkout reference and recent private order links are saved in this browser’s local storage. Private order links contain a secret that allows access to your purchases; keep those links to yourself. Clearing site storage removes these local copies, so save your private order link and downloaded files first. Your questionnaire draft is not saved in browser storage. The server keeps order references, selected artwork and sizes, prices, acceptance of the personal-use terms, payment identifiers and payment status so it can verify purchases and provide downloads. It stores a protected hash of your private order secret, not the secret itself. Card and bank details stay with PayPal. Short-lived security records help limit abusive requests.

We keep correspondence and order records as needed to provide the service, handle problems and meet recordkeeping obligations. We do not sell your inquiry details or add you to a marketing list through this form. If you want to ask about, correct or request deletion of your information, use the contact form and mention “Privacy request.” Some records may need to be retained to meet legal or accounting requirements.

Inspiration links may lead to third-party websites. Share links you are comfortable giving the studio access to, and review the sharing settings of your own albums. We do not ask you to make personal photographs publicly searchable.
